the movie which i have decided to do a review on is elf, which starts will ferrel as buddy the elf. i chose this movie because it has a very intense story line which involves romance, comedy and some very serious situations.

the class was asked to find a commercial that we could write 2-3 pages about. after some thinking i found a "the shards of glass freeze pops" which is a parody of the marketing scheme that the big tobacoo companys use to lure in kids as there costomers.

My CD project

The latest project that has been assigned to us is called a CD project. the goal is to make a cover and a backing for a compact disc. it has to have at least 6 images and 500 words of text.the way i see myself meeting these standards is to have descriptions of the different songs that would be present on the back of the cd.

For my actual project theme, it will be my football career, starting out with me being a freshmen in highschool and ending with my freshmen year in college i will make songs about the major points and goals that i underwent while being a part of the game i love.

A twisted world

After reading this article, i could see how the authors style of writing could be very useful in a situation where you would like to convey an argument. It is commonly thought of as a run for election is nothing more than a popularity contest. in this story however, we replace politicians with those who are the most popular, By doing this we doom the country. By useing such an extreme perspective the author shows us that the politicians that we have in office are there for a reason.

More than just reading notes... impressions

As a homework assignment the class was asked to watch four different versions of a narrative that students of past years had done. Out of the four we were asked to watch, i was most impressed by one titled more than just reading notes. What i was impressed by the balance of music, text, and pictures which were presented within the movie.

My Visual Literacy Narrative

After being asked to think of a narrative that showed a struggle that i have had during my life i could think of one time that stuck out and played to the old saying that hard work pays off. The time that i am thinking of was my senior year in high school when i worked very hard to get my own bioloid robot.

the way that i can see myself presenting this narrative is to make a movie in Microsoft movie maker. showing many images of what it took to get the robot.
